Your privacy is important to us. This Website Privacy Policy is meant to help you understand how NCS collects, uses, shares, and protects information, and applies to NCS websites that link to or reference this Statement (the “NCS Site”). Please take the time to read this Statement to understand how your personal and other information may be handled and used while using the NCS Site. Certain NCS websites or products are subject to their own statement specific to those websites or products and such statement will apply to the applicable website or products.
Collection of Information
We collect information, including ‘personal information’, about you as you use the NCS websites and services and interact with NCS. When you submit a comment or question through the NCS Site, or subscribe to NCS communications, we collect information that identifies you as an individual, such as your name, address, email and phone number, in response to your request for information, or action.
When you visit the NCS Site, NCS collects certain information automatically. This includes information about your visit to the NCS Site, existence of cookies, time and duration of use of the NCS Site, IP address (and information related to that IP address), browser information, browser type, device type, type and version of operating system, page(s) of the NCS Sites visited, date and time of visit, your internet service provider, and identity of previous websites visited.
Some of this information is collected through the use of log files, cookies, web beacons or pixel tags, and/or other similar tools when you visit the NCS Site. Log files log actions that occur on the NCS Site. Log files enable NCS to gather information on browsing habits and visits to pages on the NCS Site. We use third parties, such as Google Analytics and Pardot to help us analyze how visitors use the NCS Site. Among other things, Google Analytics uses javascript, cookies, and other similar technology, to collect data about the number of visitors to the site, the web page that referred visitors to the site, and the pages that visitors view within the site. Pardot (a SalesForce company) is a marketing automation application that analyzes how visitors use the NCS Site. It helps NCS analyze and identify visitors to the NCS Site, analyze email campaigns, and track website forms. Personal Information is stored in Pardot/SalesForce if you complete a contact/request form or request email communications from NCS. Use of Information
The information we collect through the NCS Site is generally used to provide you with the requested product or service, and to provide a better service to you. For example, to provide you with information you request, for customer service purposes, to deliver marketing communications or other promotional materials, to use information (including NCS Site traffic information) to make improvements on the site, to comply with applicable laws, and to prevent and detect fraud or other misuse. NCS may anonymize, combine, or aggregate information collected.
Marketing Emails
We send marketing related communications to individuals who have requested them or to individuals in key roles at current or prospective clients who we believe may be interested in or benefit from our services. Our marketing emails may include pixel tags, cookies or other technologies that report back to us how you interact with the email (e.g., whether an email has been opened or deleted, whether a link was clicked). We use this information for the purpose of understanding our prospective customers and current clients. If you do not wish to receive marketing emails from us, you may click on the “unsubscribe” link embedded in each such email, or you can contact us and ask to be removed from our email marketing list.
Sharing of Information
We share information to operate our business, deliver and improve our Services, send marketing or other communications related to our business, and for other legitimate business purposes. We share information, including as follows:
- Within NCS and any of our affiliates and subsidiaries for the purposes outlined in this Statement;
- With business partners, service providers, authorized third-party agents, or contractors;
- To complete a transaction you request or authorize, such as communicating any opt-out requests with third parties;
- In connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of assets, consolidation, restructuring, joint venture, financing, bankruptcy, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.
- In response to a request for information by a competent authority if we believe sharing is in compliance with or is required by applicable law, regulation, or legal process.
- With law enforcement officials, government authorities, or other third parties as needed to comply with legal requirements; to protect the rights, property, or safety of NCS, its business, you, or others; or as otherwise required by applicable law.
- In anonymized, aggregated, and/or de-identified form.
In addition, the NCS Site contains content and plugins from social media sites like Facebook (“Like” button), Twitter (“Share to Twitter”), LinkedIn, and others. These plugins allow you to share information from the NCS Site to your timeline or account. When you connect to these services, the third parties may store and/or access data (including through the use of cookies and other similar technology) over which NCS does not have control. If you are logged into a social media website while visiting the NCS Site, the social media plugins may allow the social media website to receive information that you visited the NCS Site and link it to your social media account. Do Not Track
California law requires us to notify you about how the NCS Site responds to Do-Not-Track signals. The NCS Site does not currently respond to web browser Do-Not-Track signals.
Privacy of Children
The NCS Site is not intended for children, and NCS provides no products or services for children. The NCS Site does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. However NCS does gather and collect information regarding the use of the NCS Site as described in this Privacy Policy.
Information Security
We maintain certain reasonable electronic, physical, technical, and procedural safeguards to protect the security of the information you provide to us through the NCS Site. However, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed as 100% secure. In addition, please note that we do not control the communication channel you choose to electronically communicate with us and cannot guarantee secure information transmission.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
We may make changes to this Website Privacy Policy at any time. Any amendments or modifications become effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the NCS Site means that you accept our Website Privacy Statement revisions.
