Director, Client Consulting – Publisher

NCS is looking for a high-energy and compelling client consulting leader to serve as a director on our client consulting team. This person will be the lead consultant on key digital publisher platforms focused on solutions for their CPG and retailer clients. This is a highly visible role that will allow you to drive demand and revenue by working closely with the Delivery & Analytics team to craft unique solutions to help our clients. This position requires strong marketing and media analytics competency combined with the ability to present client-ready research concepts with actionable insights to senior marketing leadership at well-known digital publisher platforms.

  • Work closely with both Business Development and Delivery & Analytics leads to understand client needs and tailor research findings and insights to those needs.
  • Deliver compelling presentations to marketing and media decision makers that help drive our insights based strategies. 
  • Collaborate and leverage Nielsen and Catalina business partner experience and relationships.
  • Collaborate successfully with all internal and business partner stakeholders to deliver sales goals and client engagements per expectations.
  • Support and coordinate selling efforts within the field.
  • Develop and implement sales prospecting plans and materials.
  • Enable effective communications with the most senior executives accountable for sales, measurement science and product development
  • Travel as required (including local travel) up to 20
  • 8+ years of experience building strategic relationships that drive topline revenue and solutions at a senior level to advertisers and media clients.
  • Experience in influencing multiple internal and external stakeholders
Position Qualifications:
  • BS/BA degree.  Master’s degree or MBA a plus.
  • Confidence in conducting consultative presentations to senior digital publisher platform marketing and media executives.
  • Passion for helping clients capture opportunities presented by consumer insights.
  • Knowledge of advertising research, particularly Digital and TV.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and/or Google for work.
  • Demonstrated business/analytic writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project management skills.
